The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is a premier institution of national importance, recognized for its excellence in higher technological education, as well as basic and applied research. In 1956, the German Government extended technical assistance to establish an advanced engineering institute in India. This collaboration led to the signing of the first Indo-German agreement in Bonn, West Germany, in 1959, marking the foundation of IIT Madras.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in one of the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Instrumentation Engineering

  • Other allied fields

Experience:

• Strong academic track record

• Relevant experience in product design and development

Salary / Pay Scale ₹

Rs.35,000/- to Rs.40,000 /- Per month
